LL.B. (First Year)

LL.B. (First Year) Academic/Professional Course :

Under the new scheme the candidates for the LL.B. First Year (Academic/Professional) examination shall be examined in the following papers. Each paper shall be of 100 makrs and of three hours duration.

Compulsory Papers :

Paper I  1.1 Contract – I (General Principles) 
Paper II 1.2 Contract – II (Specific Contracts)
Paper III 1.3 Law of Torts and Consumer Protection
Paper IV  1.4 Family Law – I (Hindu Law)
Paper V 1.5 Family Law – II (Mohammedan Law)
Paper VI 1.6 Constitutional Law 
Paper VII 1.7 Legal Langu. & Leg. Writ. General English

Optional Paper (Any One) : 

Paper VIII 1.8 (a) Legal and Constitutional History of India 
    Or
     (b) Trust. Equity and Fiduciary Relationship 
     Or
     (c) Bankruptcy Law 

Practical Paper :

Paper IX 1.9

Public Interest Lawyering, Legal Aid. Para-legal Services and 

Moot Court.

This paper shall consist of following two parts.

(A) Theory                             80 Marks

(B)  Practical                          20 Marks

Paper II 2.2 Law of Crimes
Paper III 2.3 Law relating to Transfer of Property & Easement
Paper IV 2.4 Company Law
Paper V 2.5 Public International Law & Human Rights
Paper VI 2.6 Labour Law   
Paper VII 2.7 Administrative Law

Optional Papers (Any One):

Paper VIII 2.8 (a) Taxation Law

Professional Ethics, Bar-Bench Relations and Moot Court.
